No. Same as 2021 version.

Changes will be in late 2022, for the ‘23 model year. (Assuming COVID supply chain issues doesn’t wreak havoc on that plan)

It depends. Are you ordering now for the next available build slot, or are you ordering for an August 2022 build slot (in which case it will be a model year 2023.

If you order for the next available build slot, you will have a Model year 2022 which is what the current vehicle looks like.
If you order for an August 2022 build slot then you will likely get a Model year 2023 with the new face lift.

I can't believe this is actually happening. The person who approved the shi*tiest facelift ever in the history of BMW must've been on super hardcore steroids. I pray for him and his legacy at BMW. I think…I'm done.

I thought the LX570 front end was the worst and then BMW said “hold my Pilsner”

Maybe we just need time to get use to the new looking.
Just like how people were criticizing iPhone design from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6. Change is hard.

They also said that about the new LX570 front end before release and I still thinks it’s just as ugly as when I said it originally. We don’t all have to accept change of it’s not for the better.

Well in that case let's just all join the Burning Man festival, get skyrocketed high, and see what our car designing imagination will bring to the table. My point is, We have to push our brain limits for good not just rely on chances and probabilities for our products to be likened. Who knows maybe I'm wrong...

I heard dashboard screens will become one piece. I think that's very neat.

Someone (Management Level IV in Münich) hinted about few gizmos that we might not pay much attention to now but definitely will find out soon will be affected or eliminated due to the microchip shortage. Innocent but convenient things like wireless charging, tailgate driver's side button, garage door button, dynamic handling package, rear USB ports, windows shades, hands-free tailgate access, remote engine start, etc. We're talking for all models, but X line. He also told me that it will be a domino effect for every automobile brand manufacturer. Things are not going to improve until 2023. As for the design…as I said, my hopes are going down the drain with each passing day.

The brand is about real performance, dynamics and reliability, and if you're referring those fancy upcoming EV's, and their displays as you mentioned…my beloved grandma would love to go Costco on Sundays with one of those pseudo-muscles.

Does anyone know if BMW will extend leases for those of us who will need 4-6 months more with our original 36 month leases in order to get into the new body style?

I believe you should be able to extend for up to 6 months.

If you have a vehicle on order they’ll do up 6 months for sure, not so certain if you haven’t gotten an allocation yet.
