I have a Brooklyn grey M4 still in 112 status so I can make a change. I’m thinking of changing my interior color from black to something else. I don’t want silverstone or yas interior. I’m thinking either kyalami orange or the red interior. I am also getting extended leather and carbon bucket seats. Basically should I stick with black interior or switch to red or orange?

I would base the decision based on what you had in you previous cars and if you want a change. I had a Fox Red interior in my E90 M3 and loved it. Currently I have an RS5 with black interior and am not a big fan of it as it seems to get really hot during the summer months. For my upcoming G80 I ordered the Fiona Red which I think looks gorgeous and adds some sportiness to the car. Do keep in mind that these cars come with extended leather standard, I imagine you are getting the "Full" leather package? Remember that with that package the leather under the dash will also be colored, which for some might be too much. There is still an option to have it in black, but I read it will cost $900. Either orange or red, those buckets will look AMAZING!

BG/Fiona...that's my combo. Fiona or Kyalami are both great choices. Fiona and red calipers are a great match if you care.

I’ve only owned all black cars with all black interiors and black rims. Last BMW lease was an F32 wagon black on black. Before was an i3 black. E92 M3 Jerez black. e46 M3 carbon black. 350z black and mustang black. All with black interiors. I specified the leather because I am not getting full. Full adds too much color although the leather dash would be nice. Bright orange or red is too much on the under portion of the dash. See below my current M3

The red would go great with the calipers. I’m also keeping the red markers in the rear and the tail lights are red. So red and black interior would go well with the red and black accents on the exterior. My gf says its too red and likes the orange. I like the red a tad bit more but man the orange looks good.

Having had black in all of your previous cars I think I'd change to a different color. If I were in your shoes I'd try to locate a dealer that has some examples of these and see them in person. I like the orange but have not seen it in person. In some of the photos it pops too much which scares me a bit.

Do you have any other pics of the Fiona Red buckets? I haven't seen many out there.

I went with Kyalami Orange because I've had red in 3 of my last 4 BMWs! Both are great you can't go wrong on Brooklyn Grey!

No I can’t find very many pics of Fiona red bucket seats. That’s the best photo I can find that actually shows what it will look like.

Because BMW has always done a red interior I kind of feel like going with the orange to stand out and do something different. Brooklyn grey with kyalami orange interior is very different from anything I’ve ever owned.

Has anyone else noticed that the Fiona red bucket seats have more leather than the other colored bucket seats. The side bolsters are suede black on all other colors but not the Fiona red. The Fiona red seems to be a lot more color than you get with the other colors.

Odd that only Fiona red is missing the black suede. After seeing this it may be too much red. I like the contrast of the black and the orange. I couldn’t put my finger on it till I realized the Fiona red seats are very different from all the other seats.

I actually don’t like fjord blue. It’s just one of those personal preferences. I also don’t like the blue piping on the floor mats. They look cheap. The fiona red floor mat piping looks good. They don’t do piping for any other colors I believe. And my calipers are red as well.
