I've only ever used V9 on my 07 e92 with FBO including inlets and outlets. I've read MHD V5 V7 and V9 are the better OTS maps available thus far. I would like to get a sense of the pros and cons that make one better then the other. Which is best for highway, versus canyon carving versus city driving?

You won't find specific answers for driving style with these maps. It's all about personal feel. I have spent a lot of time on V7 and V9.
V5 ethanol maps make the most power, but also have the most advanced timing etc.

I definitely prefer version 7 over 9. V9 has a much more linear boost curve even tho it technically makes slightly more power than 7.
V7 feels fastest as the boost comes on a lot more violent. I just found my car was also much happier on 7. It idled smoother and actually was way more consistent. I always found the boost on 9 to be a little all over the place. It takes 2 minutes to switch so try whatever version you like for your driving style. V7 is 100% my favourite. That's my 2 cents

V5 E40 worked the best for me. Felt the most powerful from all tunes. I believe I was boosting 20-21 psi peak.

Okay I haven't tried any of the E85 tunes as yet. But prior to that which version did you lean towards?

It's so easy to switch maps.....just try some different ones and see what you like.

I loved the V7 tunes when running 93 fuel....and the V5 E40 maps for E40. Those V5 E40 maps are the most powerful ones MHD has.

So it appears other then custom tunes v5 is well suited for E85 and V7 has more low-end power on 93. But depending on your car and driving preference you can chose between V7 or V9. Thanks for your input.

ALL of the maps are designed to work on ALL cars. That's the whole point of the OTS (Off The Shelf) tunes from MHD. Feel free to play around and test all the different versions of maps.

One word of caution...if you run any of the ethanol maps, make sure you log some runs in order to make sure your LPFP is keeping up on the pressure. You don't want it dropping much under 50psi.

Only ran the E tunes and I did V5, V7, V9 and V5 was the greatest.

A custom tune is small money...with inlets and outlets why not? Add some meth or E85 and the custom tune will really be worth it.

You need a custom tune with inlets/outlets to maximize power. None of the mhd OTS maps are designed for FBO w/ inlets/outlets. Stage 2+ just accounts for basic FBO. With a custom tune you can probably yield 20-30whp more with I/O. OTS, maybe 5-10whp

I would add some meth for fun, should be able to crack 450whp on stock turbos with inlets/outlets/meth + 93.

All this talk of MHD V5's power... I wish it worked with the Flex Fuel module.

Only V8 and V9 are compatible with Flex Fuel
