Castrol 0w30......approved or not? I'm hearing yes and no

Just wanted to put this to rest. Some people tell me it is, some tell me it's not. I have a 2006 330, and wanted to change my oil with this oil. I had great luck with it in my twin turbo S4, and wanted to use it with my 330. I know it's LL-01 approved on the bottle..is that enough for warranty protection?

It is fine to use if its LL-01 rated, and the 0w-30 Castrol Syntec EURO blend is...however the regular Syntec 0w-30 is not.
