Inner wheel clearance - for track duties

Can someone with a G80 or G82 help me out with inner wheel clearance info?

I am looking at setting up a G80 for the track (yet to buy the car) and want to know if I will be able to get away with 10.5 or 11 inch rims on the front - tyres will be 295's (albeit 18 inch).

By clearance I don't mean hitting anything plastic like inner guards and liners, rather clearance to the shock, control arms, ball joints etc. Tyres will have a lower OD than stock.

The car will obviously be running lots of camber and wheel offset will be customised to suit optimal clearance, inside and outside.

I'm hoping for at least 10-15mm movement on the inside before clearance becomes an issue.

There is less than a pinky width of clearance to the strut from the stock tire. Any additional width would need to go to the outside.

Many thanks for the reply and taking the trouble to get that pic.
That is tight, but I have seen worse.

The tyre is closer to the strut there rather than the wheel, so with a 10.5 or 11 combined with a 295 I may be able to sneak a bit closer there as the tyre protrudes less.

Most likely I'll run a squared setup with a spacer at the front.
