Local shop to install M-aero lip for e92 in Vancouver?
Hi there,
Can anyone recommend a good place to get a e92 M-aero lip installed in Vancouver? I live in Seattle, but I go to Vancouver a lot, so I want to know if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks in advance. It'd be great if you know how much they charge too. cheers, Gel007 |

I am about to install it. Got tape and everything... just don't have time yet as I am finishing my paper for school...
If you want we can meet up and do it together. And maybe have a mini-meeting with other members in Van. Jay |

I would recommend No. 1 Collision at 1520 West 3rd Avenue in Vancouver to have it installed. They can also source it from BMW or you can pick it up from any BMW dealer. It's near Granville Island. They are one of the few shops recommend by ICBC to work on BMW's. Their body shop people get factory BMW training. They are used often by the BMW dealers. I have used them and they do good work. They have installed a lot of option parts for BMW's like the lip spoilers.
http://www.no1collision.com/about/index.html When I had it done I dropped the spoiler off and they painted it factory color and let it dry overnight. The next morning I swung by and waited a short time b/f work and they installed it with their 3M double sided tape. |

Where is longtran's online store? Or do I just PM him privately?
I was just thinking if there is a local store in Vancouver, I can save on shipping and end up paying less. I guess there are no good local stores with competitive prices? thanks, Gel007 |

Sorry for the old bump but I ordered my aero lip, should be here next week. I'm thinking about doing the install myself but I've read that some people who've done the install at home have ran into issues with gaps (tape not holding) and I've also read that the 3m tape might not be strong enough for the corners, is this true? How much do the bodyshops in GVA charge for doing the install?

there are like 6-8 screws at the bottom, so it will hold.
