Coolant temp drops on hard acceleration

Is anyone facing the same and is it a normal behaviour? Let's say my engine/coolant temp reaches the running temp ~110 (Celsius), but when I start flooring and driving in high rpms the temp starts dropping then after a normal driving it gets back to running temp. Today I floored from 50 to 150mph and the temp dropped twice from 110 to 50 C…

Mine does the same thing when hammering the car. These engines run hot with the twin turbos and I think it's the car's response to making sure engine stays cool when extracting maximum performance from the engine. My cooling fan always runs after I shut down the car no matter how gently I drive the car and when I'm really pushing it, the fan runs at high speed for ~10 minutes after shutdown. The beast needs to stay cool.

Expected I would think, anticipating heavy load.

Thermostat doing its thing as intended, then. Nothing to worry about.

Radiators doing their job. Lots of airflow over the fins at speed.

Mine does this too. The gauge moves a lot off the baseline. When I log it with JB4 from the ODB, it’s only moving a couple of degrees. I think the gauge has way more swing than it needs.
