Which trim? Help!!

Hey there,

I'm really conflicted on which trim to get on my 22 M440i CV.

I selected Arctic Race Blue Metallic with the Vernasco Black with Blue stitching interior.

Originally I selected Aluminum tetragon trim

But now I'm terrified it is going to be too busy and I'll have remorse!!

I would love to see what you think? And any suggestions or pictures or feedback on one trim or another.

I want it to be classy and not trashy or cheap looking if that makes any sense! LOL.

Thanks for your feedback in advance! Should have a production number any day!

For my order, I went with "Open Pore Fine Wood Oak Grain" trim because I thought the aluminum ones offered were too shiny for me. I wanted something a little more subdued/classy. You can always go to your dealer & check out the display they have in the showroom that has all the paint colors/seat material samples/trim samples, and make your decision then.

I'm with wicked. I did the open pore oak trim as I think it looks the most upscale, without out looking old school.

I think none of the trims that BMW offers look cheap. The aluminum tetragon is not bad (had it). I would not chose it again. A bit too busy for my taste. Piano black also not, but that is purely because of the finger prints (although it would be my favourite if it would not show the finger prints like it does). I struggle to wipe the touch screen, don't want extra surfaces to maintain daily 😂
I like more the carbon trim or open pore or the aluminum mesh.

Interior trim choices ?

Trim choice is very subjective ! IMO, carbon fibre trim looks both very classy and dynamic ! For those ordering in Canada, carbon fibre trim is a CD$600 option - rather pricey !
The attached iPhone photo doesn't really do justice to the carbon fibre trim.

That's gorgeous. But is not an option available that is shown in the configuration options - at least not the the 22MY M440i CV

You are correct that carbon fibre is not shown in the BMW USA configurator. However, I believe that your dealer can specify this trim at modest extra cost for any German built model such as M440i CV.

The carbon fiber interior pieces are very nice looking, but not for me, even if free.

I went for the Aluminium Mesh on my M440i order. Think it's subtle/sporty and doesn't trigger trypophobia like the Tetragon does for me! I didn't like the shiny black option (scratch magnet!).

Thank you - that looks very nice. I like that it's not super shiny and seems kind of matte.

Can you please take a pic of it for me? I really have a hard time visualizing it in a non "ad" format.

Pretty set on the Open Pore Wood now but I'm a visual person.

Thanks for your feedback!!
