Video in motion problem

So i got the car finally and coded drive in motion and skipped through the message and now when i try it says cant play video in motion and need to park any help?

I've never been able to get this to work, I know there are a bunch of things you need to ack on the car but they never show up for me.

I know this is an old thread, but I coded video in motion, and did the manual selection of disable block.
The movies show up on the USB search function, but they don't actually play. What format do you have the movies saved in?

.MP4 or.M4V are the ones that I use, I think there are a few other compatible formats too.

I figured it out. The files are m4v format, which would work.

The problem is the videos are all DRM protected digital copies (the digital codes that come with a Blu-ray). I-drive won't play anything DRM protected.

I could try to use software to strip the DRM, but seeing as how I will likely use video in motion once or twice to show it off, it just isn't worth the work. Hahaha.

I use HANDBRAKE to convert anything to what the iDrive will recognize, but you can use a variety of conversion apps. Here are my settings:

MP4
H.264
Framerate: Same a source
Audio codec: AAC
Stereo

I simply play downloaded MP4s, and it works just fine. I didn't need to change any of the file's settings.

I totally need some help! Got video files coded to play and have video in motion active as well. Put a thumb drive into the cup holder usb slot and the files show up in idrive hit when I go to select them they just come up with a screen That shows the file name and looks like it’s playing but counter doesn’t move.
