Car not receiving commands from IOS app

Hello everyone,

Absolutely love my M240i but it is getting increasingly frustrating that the myBMW app can send zero commands to my vehicle. I just keep getting the request failed to send. It also seems odd that my weather in the car updates sometimes and also goes days without any updated information.

The app itself is showing the last location of the vehicle within a couple hours and shows the proper fuel amount.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my dealer seems to have no clue. I have tried removing profile and resetting idrive, removing and reinstalling app.

You can try updating the connecteddrive services from in the car. Go to the Apps menu, then click the option key by the iDrive controller. Should see the option "update apps and services". Make sure the car is in an area with clear service (i.e not a parking garage).

Maybe also try an iDrive soft reboot by holding the volume know down for 20 seconds while the engine is running. iDrive screen will go blank then you can let go and allow to go through the start up sequence.
