Battery Reserve
Talking to an i3 owner, they said even when the battery reaches '0%' there is still a buffer left in the battery and the car will switch to a 'low power' mode and still be able to reach (accorinding to the i3 owner) around another 30-50 miles.
Is this true? Anyone had the mis-fortune to have to test it?! |

I wouldn't risk it - it's not good for the battery anyways, plus it starts to reduce the power under 10% charge
In China they ran it completely empty and got 7.1 kilometers extra after 0% before it stopped. At 547.8 km it showed 0% and remaining - km, and they got to 554.9 km. https://inf.news/en/auto/af39ce2510b...e1f0705d9.html |
