X5 45e what is this red arch while meaning in the speed panel?

It happens in highway when I want to speed up in hybrid mode. Any idea what this meaning?

I think that tells you how fast you drive above current speed limit

as mentioned, it's telling you how much over the speed limit you're going. it's red because it's telling you, "NO! you need to be in Sport mode if you wanna go this fast!"

That was what I originally thought as the sport is red, and I can't feel the engine in this Little red, so it has nothing to do with sport, and still using battery. That is a perfect explanation sport red should be over speed limit ~

nah man, red is the color used to denote "Warning!" ⛔️ 🛑 no matter what drive mode you're in

methinks Sport drive mode is more of a burnt orange as opposed to red…
