I love that color but is it just the pictures or does the driver seat and center console arm rest area look dirty?

My kids would destroy that color interior within minutes.

No it's the picture quality the interior is immaculate I'm definitely going to try to top it with a leather ceramic coating. It came with permaplate paint and interior protection so hopefully I can top it with an additional ceramic coating

With todays leather cleaners and conditioners it's not difficult to keep light interiors clean.

Show us pictures after 10k miles. Thise seat will be the color of your jeans and agains that won't help any cleaning solutions. Learned my lesson and now only black interiors.

A little extra monthly TLC with the right products will keep the ivory white merino looking immaculate. It is a bit more delicate that the Vernasca leather but the feel and comfort do not compare. 31k miles on ours with 3 kids and it's still immaculate with monthly cleaning and conditioning.

Are you living in 1974? Cleaning products have come a long way. Relax a bit.

Lol I purchased my certified pre owned X7 which means it's USED and it already has over 22,000 miles on it and still looks great so I'm not sure why you assumed that lol

I have the same interior and haven't once had my jeans leave a mark. Maybe I just wear better jeans?

Anyway, I'm at 38,000 right now with 3 kids and it still looks good. I haven't touched the interior other than a light dusting here and there since early fall, and the only spot I could tell right now is on the driver door handle, which a little spit-shine will take care of. I might get out to do a little maintenance cleaning if I have a chance now that I still have some daylight when I get home, but it's certainly not bad enough for me to want to do a full cleaning and conditioning. I'll save that for the spring.

I typically do a full detail of the interior twice a year on all of my cars. I actually have more of an issue with the black in my other car. I can't stand how black shows oils so far, and spend more time dealing with that than I do getting a little dirt and grime off the high contact areas of the ivory for normal maintenance. I'll never get a full black interior again myself (this was my first since I swore it off with a sensatec interior on a mini 17 years ago).

Medium colors (sakhir, coffee, etc.), have been the best and worst for me. Mainly because they are light enough that the oil doesn't show quickly and dark enough that grime doesn't show. This just means it takes longer before I realize how bad they are, so it just takes that much longer to clean and condition them when you're at that point. I'd rather spend 10 minutes every 2 weeks than 4 hours every 3 months.

Nice to hear the ivory white is holding up well with 3 kids! What are there ages? Mine are 4 and 1. What leather cleaner do you use on the ivory and navy leather?

Mine are 9, 14, and 15 now.

I use chemical guys stuff, but only because I went fanboy a couple years ago and have it on hand. The cleaner with a horse hair brush works well, but I'm not a fan of the conditioner, way too strong of a fake leather smell... but I have it, so I use it.

There's quite a few here that actually highly recommend the BMW Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, others look to the standards... Sonax, Leatherique, Colourlock, etc. I would say it's more in making sure you don't go the "all-in-one" type spray and get a separate cleaner+conditioner along with a good brush to go with your cleaner (I'm able to work up a good foam with mine even though it comes out in a clear spray). I have an all-in-one that I use for random maintenance, but if I'm actually trying to get something out, I'll clean then condition.
