Electricity consumption

I have charged the car for a second time and i have noticed that the consumption of electricity is more than the battery capacity.

The first time i charged from 15 - 100 % and used 79kwh and yesterday i charged from 40-100% and i used 49kwh.

The battery capacity is 80 kwh. But according to these numbers is like i have to charge much bigger battery.

Any thoughts about that?

Also do you know why the remaining miles in app are different from the miles in car?

Thanks

Don't forget you have losses in the charging process. I think there is another thread (posted recently) which discusses the same issues in more detail.

I've run a quick search, but didn't get the topic I was looking for. Someone else reading, may remember where it was discussed.

Keep in mind charging losses can be in the region of 10 - 15%.

Yeah the ac to dc conversion looses a decent chunk, like Pete said, anywhere from 10-15% low ampage usually higher losses, so 12% guess on 7kW, closer to 15 on 3kW and 10 on 11kW

So if you put 80kW into the car only really 72 ish you actually put in the battery
