Hey folks, this is probably a very specific problem to me, but I use Spotify on idrive (not Apple Carplay or Android Auto) and since I've had the car I could toggle shuffle on/off in the Media menu. However, just the other day I found my playlist had reverted itself to the ordered playlist (not shuffled) but the shuffle option was still checked as on in the menu. I tried toggling it on and off but it does nothing now. Whether I use the touch screen or the controller I can't turn the shuffle off in the menu; even though the songs are still playing in the non-shuffled order.

Also, the car seems not to default to shuffled songs (again despite the option staying on in the idrive menu). If I go into Spotify on my phone (Samsung S9) I have to manually turn on shuffle every time I start the car now... a minor thing but majorly annoying.

Anyone else experience this? I want to say it started this past Thursday. I can't tell if it's an issue with the car or Spotify.

Update: fixed! Someone in another thread said you can reboot the idrive by holding down the volume knob for 20 or so seconds. So I did that and everything works as normal again.
