Has anyone experienced any issues with the voice commands for Points Of Interest (POI)?

A few weeks ago I used the voice command search feature in the navigation controls to search for "McDonalds" and the car came back with a list of the nearest ones, sorted by distance from me.

I've also previously used it to search for "Shell Petrol Stations", which again worked properly.

Now the car doesn't recognise the commands at all, it keeps asking me to repeat the command but doesn't seem to understand the command at all.

I can still use voice commands to search for a place or address, such as "London", or "10 Downing Street" (as examples). However if I try any POI, such as the ones above or local tourist attractions, etc, it no longer works.

Has anyone else had issues? I've tried restarting iDrive (pressing the volume button for 20 secs) and I've also deleted all connected phones from the car and re-added my iPhone and CarPlay - none of it has made any difference...

I haven't tried with POI but since few days ago it happens a similar issue.
I am no more able to find and play music on spotify using the voice command
The given voice command is for example "reproduce Nirvana"; previously it was working fine.

I've now tried a full factory reset on iDrive and have completely deleted my iPhone and car from each other.

I've also also backed out all BimmerCode coding changes (ambient lighting, ASD and B&W sound).

Other than causing me to lose all of my previous config, like saved radio faves, stores fave destinations and all other config changes to iDrive (obviously), it's made no difference whatsoever to the voice command search issue.

It will still search places using voice command but no other POI. I've tested "Hey Siri" and it works fine and will find it he POI I ask for.

However when using SatNav entry, if I say "Hey Bristol" it finds the city Bristol but if I then say "where is the nearest McDonalds" is plays dumb again.

SO FU****G ANNOYING as I use that feature all the time!

UPDATE: having re-added my phone, BMW app, profile sync, etc. I tested the POI voice commands today ("McDonalds" and "Shell Petrol Stations") and it works again!

So, either it was a problem with the online search capabilities, or there was an issue with the car that a factory reset of the iDrive resolved.

Oh and my BimmerCode codings have all been re-applied and it still works, so it isn't related to that (I didn't think it was but it was a consideration).
