Hey guys
I have a 22' x3m
Brooklyn/ with Sak orange
Red calipers

Was trying to find the Red v brace cover that can fit.
I can only find it for other models

I seen a few other cars and from a distance you can see the v brace red pop out from the grille

Wrap it. That's what I did. Luckily I found a color identical to my car's color, there's 100s of wrap colors, you'll for sure find one you like.

totally. I had a shop wrap it. and youll save a lot of money with those things but i wanted a perfect color match so wrap was the only way to go for me to match that phytonic blue.

Reading the reviews, this one concerned me:

These are great for the money I guess coming under $20. Really simple to install, but took a little elbow grease pushing the covers on the bars but led to a secure fit. These look nice for the first month or two but the sun will fade the color fast (or the heat from the engine .. not sure who is to blame). Either way, they will fade. I purchased the Red and it looks like a faded pink almost now after only a couple months. Vehicle sits in a garage most of the time too so it may be the engine heat and less of sun causing the fade.

I used wrap, it was not that difficult (but more difficult than these I suppose).

I had a Chevy SS and bought a “SS” license plate frame with red text. This is exactly what happened when I left in the sun for an extended time. Went in the trash

basically you can go super cheap, 20 bucks, but it may just be a waste, or apply that 20 towards a wrap and be certain youll be good. plus with the wrap, i quickwax spray the bars so man they shine a lot, idk if you can wax this plastic piece, might damage it. I've had mine for about 1.5 years, same color from day 1.

Well, the Amazon brace covers arrived yesterday. I'll get them on this weekend and snap a pic or two.

We don't get a lot of sun here in Michigan and the car stays parked in the garage a lot more often than not, so we'll see if fading becomes an issue.

The wrap I got was <$20 on Amazon (Vivid?). My car is mostly parked inside but it has held up well.

That is a good idea about waxing them - wish I thought of that when the grill was off lol.

Another poster wrapped his in red which looks great on his Brooklyn Gray. Once you get the hang of it, it isn't too bad.

Pretty cool. I didn't know you could get quality wraps like that off amazon, but man amazon has Everything! lol. I went to a shop and they did it for me because I wanted to match the wrap to my car color. it was a bit more expensive but I also did the reflectors and some other bits while I was there, overall looks like you've done a great job on them!

Sorry, it's been cold here since the parts arrived. Hopefully I'll get them installed this weekend or next week.

Not bad for a small investment and easy install. Bmw definitely made it much easier to remove the grille

Yea if I see it fade overtime I might just wrap it. The reason I just used the pvc pipe cut-out pre painted was because I had bad experience on taking out my F80 grille. But they definitely made it super easy now just 6 push in clips.
