I contemplated the same thing. Mines a 2020, so people who would actually know what it is would know that I am misrepresenting what I actually have.

If you build one on the BMW USA site it now shows a preview of the vehicle with the new emblems.

G8X M3 in Skyscraper Gray.

https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...highlight=50th

I would not put a brightly colored 50th Anniversary Classic M roundel on a grey car. The 50th Anniversary Classic M roundel only looks good on a White, Black, Red, Light Blue, and Blue/Purple car.

Look at the IND Carbon Fiber BMW Roundel instead. You might also need matching center caps. Price is shockingly high.
There are many custom BMW Roundels available...Goggle it.

Cheers

Yea personally I like understated and this is not that.

To each his own but I would much prefer and understated CF roundel not this loud white one with the tiny BMW in the middle.

I think they could have done better but it is retro I guess.

My fully loaded MBB/Sakhir X3MC will have these 50th anniversary badges. They are now standard. You must specify normal BMW badges if you don't want them.

Since I'm a noob BMW fanboy, I'm unsure whether I should like the anniversary badges. I actually think they look cool. Understated and different. Not many X3M in '22 may get them so it might become somewhat collectable?

Whomever responded this morning pointing out this a common re-post question and merged threads and recommended I refer to the BMW configurator--that was hot tip. The image on BMWUSA.com actually shows the Anniversary badges, and I hadn't even noticed. Proves I'm not that sensitive to the look of the badge. I do like them as shown on the configurator.

My questions above however stills stands. Would like to see photos of an X3M / X3MC with the badges. My Vehicle Inquiry shows the car ordered with Anniversary Badges.

I wanted to see what the Heritage badges would look like on my early build 22 X3 M. I got some heritage stickers but I decided I like OEM better and removed them quickly.

I've also gone ahead and ordered the stickers but in black... I wish it was more round/bubble like the OEM roundel. Needless to say these will come off soon and I will be on the hunt for the 50th Anniversary Badge with black instead of the white.

I really like those. Much more my taste. I ordered these and they were sold as Rondel covers but they were not designed to be used on convex rondel’s so I returned. I did find an eBay seller with some and may try one.

He shoots, he SCORES GOOOOOAL. Yes. Replacing the white background with a black background is the Holy Grail of Classic ///M Roundels.

I wonder if IND can do that. If they can make a Carbon Fiber BMW Roundel, they can do anything.

Interestingly, the 50th Anniversary Classic M Roundels might look good on the hood and trunk, but the standard BMW Roundels would look better on the center wheel caps, depending on the wheel finish (polished, gunmetal, or black).

Cheers
