Sulphur Battery Technology - The future of EV batteries?

Here's an interesting Forbes article I came across. While not up to the promise of solid state batteries, this technology appears to have a shorter time line to viability. Assuming, of course, they're able to deliver on their forecasts.

Love it! But like all battery tech, by the time it materializes in production scale it will look incremental. I personally won’t expect this to materialize for another 5 years. In the mean time there are many other breakthroughs that that are finally making their debut that promised similar gains.

Battery tech isn’t going to see a step function, but the battery tech is getting better day by day and it’s amazing! https://arstechnica.com/science/2021...der-your-nose/
