MHD tablet not reading OBD/DME

Wondering why my MHD tablet keeps giving me a error code while trying to read the the DME Thur OBD cable, tablet and dme are not reading I switch the cable and checked the charging port and everything is fine.. any other things I could try to to get it working trying to log car and clear sum codes
