2022 X5 48V Hybrid Stop/Start Delete?

Gang,

With the new 48V X5's being produced now, how can I code out the Start/Stop on the car? I know Bimmercode could do it before the 48V upgrade, but what about now?

TIA,
HAZMAT

Which car? And what did you use to code it with?

I tried this on G05/G06 with BimmerCode and works fine.

All the cars that I've coded work perfectly fine even my '21 40i.

Remote start have some rules. I know for sure that it won't start if you have CEL.
I believe, it won't do it too if your gas is low.

The whole point of the hybrid is the efficiency and smooth transition between electric and ICE so why would you want to code out Start/Stop?

It is annoying on previous gen 48V. On my G06 auto start stop is very smooth, I re-enabled it and have no complaints. It saves gas , it's smooth, no reason to turn it off anymore. Tear and wear is also a concern but this thing is built to last.

With ASS turned off on 48v mild hybrid, would the car still freewheel on the freeways?

I have a 21 40i

The ASS is lots smoother compared to my 21 GLS450.

I'm guessing you mean coast (without using gas) if so yes. The ASS in your car is nice though, I find it smoothest in eco pro, it stops the engine before the car comes to a complete stop, it sometimes creeps without turning on the engine, it will maintain a certain speed without the engine on vs coasting which will slow down the car. After giving it a solid chance I left ASS on and now I love it.

Their EPA rating and thus the corporate fuel economy average rating and potential fees depend on it working, so when it can be turned off with non-standard means (such as the user coding things), that doesn't count against them, but with a button, it does.

Haven't tried eco pro though but yes it doesnt irk me that much when compared to other ASS cars i have driven.
The free-wheeling feeling can be a little alarming at first, as we were all so used to engine braking all these time while coasting on the freeways.
