Picking up tomorrow, 81K MSRP! Don't really wanna sell since I'm trading in my 2022 M340i for this, but the car will be located in Florida. Some Dealers are offering 10k above sticker for selling in South Fl, but will entertain offers or will end up taking down the post and just keeping after my initial feedback and 1st drive! My heart is set on carbon buckets with a manual, but I know it's prolly a year out at this point if I'm even lucky!

Excited to pick this up but entertaining offers due to market conditions and how hard it is to obtain an XDrive Comp M3, sorry if the price is too high but she will be my daily, so not trying to just get rid of it just because.., it's gotta make sense. Thanks again

Bitter sweet, if I sell it, I'm gonna build one and wait it out, with carbon seats and six speed. This was an allocation I was able to grab, so trying to make the best of it. This will be my daily driver, so if I can profit, yes but honestly not in a hurry to sell.

IRS is scam with capital gains. I day trade for a living and do extremely well but what they take is BS

Full agreement here. But all of the people who brag online about how much money they make now flipping cars, they better be reporting it or it is fraud, and people get locked up for that.

My how this conversation rolled on a guy looking to take advantage of a market, and having financel advisors get worked up. To some, and many of us who are frustrated waiting for an allocation. I fully understand the reason behind it. Some people just don't like to wait! He isn't offering anything higher than a dealership would do.

Kudo's to you. I hope you end up keeping it and enjoy it at least for a bit, so you don't regret that next wait!

I plan to do the same thing when I'm done with my m340. But for now, I'm happy to have it and enjoy it while awaiting an m3 allocation.

See the thing is though, he's not a dealership which by definition, must sell their product for a premium. He is an individual pandering to an enthusiast community looking to yield a more than modest return. Is it objectively scummy? Yes. Does it make him a monster? Not really. However, it is very different from advertising the car on auto trader or eBay motors, he's looking to find a true fan desperate for a car that OP got but doesn't really care about. Hope you have trouble selling it for a large profit.

I think it's tough to sell at this price to a private owner, because 1) they don't get to trade their 340i at a $10k premium to the dealer 2) no tax offset. Why don't you keep it and trade it in for for the one you want, I'm sure a dealer would give you 90 plus at minimum and save on taxes? I'm assuming florida has the same tax benefit as Georgia…
