so basically that would turn into ~$9,000 due at signing... ummm why would you put $5500 down on a lease??

No, it was 5500 drive off.

Nothing more.

You pay 5500 included dmv, papers etc.

and drive it off the lot.

BTW, its actually 3000 downpayment with 2500 papers.

i asked how much it would be for like 1000 down and 1500 papers. and he said 765 or so.

hmm, tell them to drop it to $90k. If they tell you to go pound sand, tell them you'll be back in 5 months and the offer will be $70k.

something doesn't make sense to me. Can you get any info? Monthly lease payments of ~$700 for a $95k vehicle for 30 months just doesn't add up.

Exactly my thoughts.

It doesnt add up whatsoever.

Now, I wish would have took a pic.

Also they had a M6 Conv selling for 795 a month with a MSRP of 118K and selling for 99,990.

HERE IS THE LINK. Look at this PAGE!

I don't know. Something still sounds fishy. The money factor has to be around .00120 for this to make sense, and that NEVER happens on M cars.

It did in october when they were offering 0.00030 lease rates for the M3.

EDIT:

Sorry, it was Residual 57% of MSRP – .00050 Base Rate as a special for 08' M3's still in stock.

did you check what happens when you click on the car? It changes the term to 24 months instead of 30 months.

Damn that's great!
And who cares about the residuals.
Just don't ever plan on buying the car out.
