30k-mile N54 motor

I just so happened to have stumbled upon an n54 engine with only 30k-so miles on it. Unmolested, nothing done to it at any point.

How much can it go for? I have zero knowledge of N54 engine prices. Is 30k miles really good for its age? Came out of an '09 135i I believe.

Also, I have a manual 6MT trans that came along with it out of the aforementioned 135i. Is that worth anything?

Both are worth decent money. I'd probably guess $3k at least for that engine in the current market. The GS6 manual trans is also pretty hard to find these days but unsure of those prices.

That's super rare in my area at least. N54 with 150k+ kilometres are going for $2800-$4000 Canadian. 6MT go for $2000+ depending on condition/mileage.

VINcheck, spoke to owner, and obvious conjecture (it's been sitting since 2011. You can only put on so many miles from 2008-2011).

That's worth at least $3-5K all day long. That's the perfect find for a motor swap project.
