How much Camber?

How much camber change is everyone seeing with their drops. I am try to decide if I need to get camber plates.
Here are my guidelines.
1. I will only be dropping modestly with KW HAS (Just trying to close the gap a bit)
2. I won't be tracking the car.
3. Preference on camber be as close to stock as possible.
4 My DD so tire wear is important ~ 70 miles a day.

Thanks for the feedback!

My front camber was -2.0 after MSS HAS install with moderate drop. Factory stock should be a bit less than that, probably around -1.6.

Why would you need camber plates if you don't plan on tracking the car? :

I did a mild KW HAS drop on G80 M3 and my front camber is also -2.0.

At first it somewhat bothered me I could not dial it back in. But looking into camber plates; the word is they typically add some noise. I do not want to hear any noise or feel more road vibrations so I just deal with it and corner harder to make use of the -2.0 camber.

My drop vs stock.

Thanks for the feedback. I have the info I needed to decide not to get them.

McLaren I would have gotten the plates if I needed them to get the camber back closer to stock. But that small of a difference is negligible.

BIGWORM that’s the type of drop I am looking for. She looks good! Also, any reason to drive in a more spirited manor is a check in the plus column.

I will keep you posted on my tire wear. I am very much interested in getting ride of my Pzeros so I can get some Michelins. So I will be keeping an eye on my front tire wear. Hopefully the -2.0 doesnt chew out the inner tread too rapidly. If it does, then I might have to get camber plates. But I would prefer not doing that as most people I have spoken too say they make noise I know I would not want to hear.

Appreciate it! I too have the P Zero's. With that small of a change from stock it shouldn't wear the tires too bad as long as the toe is set correctly. I just wasn't sure how much camber change there was. I hate when the camber is so negative that the wheel has a noticeable lean to it, which can also chew up tires.
Bummer that the camber plates are noisy so far. Hopefully we wont need them. I have had camber plates on most of my rides that I dropped simply because I am so picky about stance.

I ordered the vert specific KW HAS kit from Kevin over at EAS and have a month wait for it to be sent from KW. So I figured I start a discussion and maybe learn a thing or two. While I waited for it to arrive.

Thanks for the response VIC! Did you keep the factory rake angle? Also, that's not an AIB parking job...

Im right about equal to the OEM height variations in regards to front and rear drops so yes its just about factory in nature:

Did my alignment yesterday. Stock, the xdrive M4 has around 1.3° (or 1°20'), which is significantly less than the RWD has with 1.9° (1°55').

I dropped the car with KW HAS and now have 1.9° aswell.
