Utah
So, me and a bunch of friends going snowboarding in Utah for new years. We rented a cabin somewhere in between Brighton and Solitude (from what i understand).
Now, obviously we are not bringing any alcohol from San Diego, but what is the deal with buying it in Utah? I was told you need to be registered in the state or be a member of some private club to be able to buy it at the store??? The only other option is bars. Is that true?

False I live in Salt Lake City, I purchase alcohol. It's as easy as getting cash from my roomie, walking into the store, picking it up, showing ID and leaving the store with it.

you have to buy liquor (and now flavored malt beverages)from a state liquor store. But you can buy beer from the gas station, grocery store, etc.
the liquor laws are weird in resturants, im not exactly sure what they are but certantly they are confusing. You can still order beer or cocktails, theres just weird regulations. |

well, the general idea here is to buy bunch of booze as soon as we get there and drink it in our cabin, without having to go anywhere, beside the slopes

Careful with that or you'll end up like Robert F. Kennedy plastered all over a tree.
