Driver's door leather crack fix
I had some cracks on my driver's door. Tried to talk to the service center at the dealership but they said they could only replace the door panel (which cost more than 2K $)...
Would there be a better approach to fix this? Like a local body shop? View post on imgur.com Last edited by Edenzy; 05-21-2022 at 09:42 PM.. |

If it is a crack due to defective build then they should cover it. If it has been caught by something during cleaning etc., then they wont cover. I cant believe a door card would be over 2K though surely!

Red looks like a defect unless someone was fiddling with the lock stalk for some reason.
Blue could be caused by anything, it's hard to tell. Any update from a dealer about warranty repair? |

This is a $100 and easily replaceable. Find the part# here https://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/...doorpanelspart But the part here doesn't have any image so I'm not sure what that is. |
