45e Warranty Question

Headed to Mexico with my 45e for 5 months, I’m planning on having a BMW dealer flash my car so the electric charge mileage is boosted to Euro Spec from US (a significant increase in electric mileage capacity). I will not be flashing it back when I leave.
Since it was flashed by BMW I’m not expecting any US warranty issues when I return, appreciate anyones thought on potential warranty issues with Battery.

I would not assume, just because you get a Mexican BMW dealer to do the work, that such a change would not violate your US warranty.

Indeed, I would be shocked if it didn’t.

Even if possible, a US dealer will not flash it for you. Having a dealer in Mexico do it will be the same as a guy off the street doing it and could have warranty consequences if found.

Not sure Fuel Savings by adding on the extra 10-15 miles range is worth risking your warranty coverage on, but to each is own.
