Assuming the next-Gen X1 is going to closely resemble the iX1, this is a significant improvement over the current generation both exterior and interior. This should sell extremely well. Well done BMW.

It looks interesting. The grill being chrome is very in your face. I think a black one would look better

I knew it would take years to reverse course on the coffin grills because the cars are in development so long…happy to see it's finally happening.

I'm getting some XC60 vibes when I look at those rear lights.

I think BMW has a winner here. We have a 18 X1 M-Sport and these images have me pretty darn confident that we'll be getting the new one. Hope carmax makes a decent offer lol

Looks pretty nice. It would be great if BMW would apply that diagonal notch out of the curved-screen on all models adopting it. It would help it look more integrated, especially on the X7 LCI.

The first X1 was a big seller and this one will to just as the 2nd gen X1 was selling like hotcakes, granted they can produce and ship them with the current global situation that is ongoing. I do believe the range will be a little better then BMW claims it has proven to be at least the case when it comes to the i4 at least. But then again this crossover SUV probably won't have the same sleek dimension for air flow around the car.

Exiting times a lot of EV launches now are we closer to the tipping point the first assumed when EVs outgrow Petrol & Diesels. Exiting none the less.

Will be popular pick once released. High time we start talking about model 3 and overpriced model Y alternatives.

64.7kwh battery, basically a Chevy Bolt size battery pack. Should be around 250mile range. 130kw dc charging.

Not very impressive stats these days.

Ioniq 5 does 300+ miles and 230kw dc fast charging, fit/finish is quite good too for $45k.

Looks good for the most part, but not a fan of the cheap door handles on new BMWs lately.

actually i think it looks like a 3 series (G20) on stilts

i dare say it was just rendered using the G20 LCI and not from the real thing

No iDrive Controller

It looks good (not sure about the M-Sport rear bumper though, will reserve judgement on the non-M-Sport one as those are quite good lately), but note that, same as the 2er Active Tourer and as expected, it does not have an iDrive Controller/Rotary Dial
