PPF over Ceramic Coat or vise versa?

My new baby is coming any week now. I want to do PPF on the front and ceramic on the entire car. To save on costs, I plan to do the ceramic myself. Should I do the PPF after or before the ceramic? Thanks for your advice!

My vendor advised me to have ppf first than vinyl wrap it so the original paint will remain undamaged. Did I waste my money ?

Can you tell me more about your spray? Is it meant to go over the PPF? Does it help reduce dust sticking to the PPF?

My PPF installer said doing ceramic first wouldn’t work because the PPF wouldn’t stick correctly to a ceramic coated car.

Not sure if this is the same as what the OP mentioned but I use this over my ceramic coat every 3 or so months and it is truly amazing - https://www.amazon.com/Detailing-Pro...s%2C125&sr=8-6

Are you using this over your ppf?

I don't have PPF on my current car. But, yes, you can use it over PPF.

+1.

PPF won't adhere properly to coated surfaces. Once film is installed, then apply ceramic coating to those panels. I had to wait a month after taking delivery to get PPF installed, so I coated the panels which weren't receiving film. The (CeramicPro KAVACA) film applied to my car includes a ceramic coating layer, so I just applied an extra layer to enhance its hydrophobic properties.

I second this aftercare detail spray. I recently purchased 2 bottles. My car is full body PPF. This stuff is legit. Very good, and I detail cars as a hobby, so, I know the good stuff out on the market, and this is way up there.
