HP & TQ Questions

So the top of the line tunes out there claim an increase of about 80hp & 80lb-ft. I'm assuming they mean at the wheels, correct? And BMW says the 335s are 300hp & 300lb-ft, and I'm assuming this is at the crank or flywheel, correct?

If my assumptions are correct, how much wheel hp & tq does a stock 335 put out and how much crank/flywheel hp does a JB3, V3, or Dinan 335 put out?

If my assumptions are incorrect, someone please set me straight...

most stock 335's are putting down mid 270's on a dynojet. Most JB3 and V3 cars w tune only running pump gas are in the 335-350whp range, which will work itself out to be around 390-400 crank HP.

mine stock 250 rwhp and with JB3 ONLY 310 rwhp. Dyno reads quite low and had wintertyres with spikes.

enrita - with all those power mods, sounds like you need to have your set up looked at - I'd think you should be getting quite a bit more power than that. GL!

JB3 ONLY 310 rwhp . not with the mods which i am currently installing.
