Will old rims fit on BMW iX3?

Hey guys

Can't seem to locate the iX3 subforum so here goes. Taking delivery of a new iX3 in October. I currently have an X1 F48 LCI and I'm wondering if my summer rims will fit on the iX3 as winter rims. Judging from the specs it would seem they fit but the dealer insists that the rims must be 19" in order for the brake calipers to clear. This confuses me since many wheel dealers have 18" rims in stock for the iX3.

My current rims have the following specs:

7,5 x 18" ET45, 5x112 / center hole 66,5

According to this the iX3 requires:

5 x 112 Offset / ET27 Center bore 66,6 mm. Bolt / nuts B14x1,25

The dealer contact doesn't really seem to know everything about the car and they're not allowed to discuss fitment of parts not sold by the dealer so that's why I'm asking for a second opinion.

The noticeable difference here is the ET. Am I correct in assuming that ET45 actually allows more space for the calipers to clear than ET27 or am I looking at it backwards?

ET45 puts the rim tighter to the brakes. You will need spacers to get close to the ET27.
