21" All Season Tire Type in Tire Settings
I just installed the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires on my X4MC LCI. The tires are the same setup as the Continentals that came with the car: 255/40 R21 in the front and 265/40 R21 in the rear.
I went into the car tire settings to adjust the system to the all season and when I go to change the Tire type from summer, the only other option is "Winter/All-year." When I select this setting, the only tire size that shows up is 20" 255/45 R20 105V or a "Special authorization" section with the "Other tires/raceway" option. These options don't feel right to me. Should I select the "Summer" tire type so that the system selects a 21" wheel, or should I go with the "Other tires/raceway" option under "Special authorization"? |

I personally went with the summer option when I changed to my 265/40-21 & 295/35-21 PSAS4's.

I changed it because the car showed a low tire pressure error, but I'm realizing now that the mechanic who changed my tires probably didn't reset the sensors. Let's see what happens tomorrow. |
