Hello everyone,

Sorry if the title is missleading but I dont know what the plate on the gear selector is called.

I got ceramic ones that I want to swap with the old ones(they are plastic) and Im not sure how to do it as I have been searching and didn't find any video in this direction only complete gearknob change. See attached photo.

Would really appreciate any advice.

There is a youtube vid from a company on Aliexpress that shows how to remove the plate. In the video they used nylon pry tools to pop the plate and button off.

Do you happen to have by anychance the link for that video? I have been looking and I've only found people that changed the whole gear selector.

I don't have a link, but I do know the video I watched was for an AliExpress M5 style shift knob install. I'll see if I can find it when I get a chance.

It looks like the shifter cover part pops off, but the park button seems to be attached to a plate under the cover. They don't show how to remove the park button from that plate, but I assume it would be straight forward from there.
