Remote start is on every other car, in 2022. When I had the 4 button Viper alarm installed in my 1994 5 speed manual, Civic Ex, back in 1994, that's when people didn't understand what was going on.

Especially when it remote starts, and both windows roll down and the sunroof pops up, and slides all the way back. Every manual transmission car, I drive, to this day, I still leave the car in neutral.

True, but I've been denied remote start for over 4 years now driving Porsches....

My 2016 C450 had remote start, but only for 10 min. at a time.

The manual Blackwings don't have it either (understandable of course). I was simply surprised that someone gets a look on their face when a car starts. This must be another BMW thing that I simply do not, nor wish to, understand. It's sort of like "Today at the gas station, 18 different people came up and complimented me on my car!!" I realize I will be at the gas station a lot with the car, and my wish is I get 0 compliments.

I don't know. I started my car remotely to cool it off. Car was parked in front of seating for a froyo place. A group of people sitting at an outdoor table were startled (we were sitting in the table nearby, about 50 ft from my car). One guy started looking around and then got up and peered into my car seeming confused no one was in the car. We just sat there and watched. Thought it was kinda comical.

i somehow had it set for 11:30 pm saturday after thinking i set it for 11:30 am and never going back out to the car as planned. shit woke me up from the couch that night. lmao
