I placed an order for an Imola Red M4C in January
Car has now arrived at port of destination and expected delivery is 2 weeks away
In MyBMW app garage the car is in Alpine White colour instead of Imola Red. Is this always the case with individual colours or has the dealership made an error with the order?

Stay cool , it's fine . Same happened to me . You will get the real colour when the car will be delivered in my BMW.
But the idrive (at least 7th gen) showed also white car, which you can fix by coding the right colour .

No worries, same for my Zanzibar 2 paint color, never showed on the tracker, just on my garage as an individual color.

As others noted it is normal, all Special Order colors will show a picture of a silver/white color, but if you look in the tracker on MyGarage it should also say "Special Color" under your options. You can also verify it is correct on your build sheet through your CA.
