Not that it will have created anywhere near the emotional wave Livvie has, another great Aussie passed aware over the last weekend.

Judith Durham, the lead singer of The Seekers, passed away over the weekend.

Look up The Seekers up if you have never heard of them. At one point they were bigger than The Beatles.

I realise Australia is somewhat insignificant in terms of global culture but to lose both Judith and Olivia will hit a lot of people. I don't think many people realise how big The Seekers were.

I didn't. I vaguely remember hearing the name of the group before. I saw it the other day in the music thread and gave it a listen, but didn't really pay attention. I gave it a listen it deserves a little bit ago. I liked it. Don't remember ever hearing her name before, but now I won't forget it.
