22 XDrive Stock/Tuned Dyno Numbers
Before I proceed with any kind of tune I wanted to measure the stock power on my '22 G80 XDrive. See attached screenshots from earlier today using a Dynojet mobile setup here in SoCal.
502 at the wheels in the first run and 475 in the second run. Pretty warm outside almost 85 degrees at the time of test.

Good numbers for stock - out of curiosity do you know what gear the runs were done on?

I am interested as well in the gear that was used. Also seems to be extremely good numbers for 91 octane which I assume was used since it is in California. Congrats OP looking forward to any mods you do later.

there is 1.06 correction factor applied and STD correction is not really meant to apply to turbocharged vehicles. Uncorrected numbers would be 473 peak HP on the high run and 448 on the low run.

All Dyno results should always be corrected results.
May be some heat soak or lack of air flow for 2nd run and computer cut out timing or boost or both. Did they have big fan blowing air into front for runs? |

I’m no dyno expert but if you Google wheel to crank calculator and use my first run of 502, you’ll see something around 627.

Really wish there was places like this in Saskatchewan. I want to see how my car is handling the 91 octane here that has 10% ethanol in it. (Nowhere near me carries anything higher than 91).
Feels less powerful than my F82 honestly.. maybe it is because xDrive doesn’t throw a person back as much as RWD only. I could be wrong. |

Is dynojet a linked dyno, im having a hard time getting mine done in QLD, Australia. It will throw a drivetrain malfunction. Tried in dyno mode and RWD only.

Dyno don’t matter except for tuning. On the track matters. Trust me I have raced for 30 plus years with 15 of those now being Dyno rules verified.
On track for an hour vs peak matters. What was your quarter mile times? Forget Dyno are you way faster or way slower than most is what matters. |

Finally had time to get updated dyno numbers after getting to stage 2 a couple months ago. Stock BM3 E50 map. Evolution Racewerks catted down pipes, Eventuri Intake, everything else stock.
Same Dynojet setup, sixth gear, 67 degrees. 116 hp increase at the wheels for a total of 618 which supposedly is close to 750 at the crank.

That e85 is holding that timing so much better compared to your initial run.

I expected closer to 650, but 614 is not bad at all

Time for a custom tune with the same fuel. I have no doubt you will make about 50whp or more. |

If that's the bm3 ots map then its a mild safe tune, could definitely be higher though.

Did you see dyno results from a different forum member that were closer to 650 with the stock E50 map?
