Lowering

I have a 430I GC that I would like to lower at least to the same height as a rwd. I don't really like hoe high it sits in the front what are my options?

What year is your car? Do you have standard shocks or Adaptives? Eibach springs are your best option because they lower the front more than the rear. And they are mild so they won't drive harsh.

See photo for Eibach part number to lower your car estimated Front 25mm/Rear 20mm (F1.0"/R0.8")

If you have any difficulty finding that part number in the US then try Tunershop website

Does H&R not corrode as quickly? Thought I heard that somewhere.

No rust issues with any of the springs mentioned. They are all coated.

There can be rust/corrosion issues with cheaper coilovers that use cheaper materials and plating/coating processes.

Amd if doing shocks struts at same time take your combined pricing and compare to a set o& KW street comfort or similar.

I figured the choice of rideheight was worth the extra couple of hundos.

I agree with what you are saying but price difference is more than that.

On my 2015 335i XDrive, a kit with Koni Yellow Sport struts/shocks and Eibach springs is $1,094. KW Street Comfort coilovers are $2,054. So a $960 difference.

I agree in your choice of KW Street Comforts. Excellent quality and ride. I chose the Koni Sport Yellows for comparison because they are adjustable for comfort like the KWSC. And along with the Eibach springs, the combo is similar in spring rate and dampening to the KWSC.

There's a bigger price difference between shocks/springs and coilovers is larger than most people think because there are many cheap crap coilovers in between.
