Thanks for sharing! Pictures say a million words. I still have difficulty with getting myself to like the exterior. The interior on the other hand is perfect and untouchable!

To me it looks like the guy that created the beaver-tooth look a few years ago got promoted to exterior design director and told his design team "we need more cow bell". Looks like a great platform, but those angles/shapes make me cringe. ![]() |

It's like BMW wanted to build a bro-truck and here we are. All I see is a gigantic douche-mobile.

Also, that interior leather color is lovely. As always, thanks for sharing. Honestly, your pics are better than the pictures posted on the original BMW website. ![]() |

I guess BMW wants to give a glimpse of what one can expect to see in the cabin. |

![]() It boiled down to two vehicles: one electric and one ICE 1) Tesla Model X Plaid or 2) BMW X7 M60i Ended up choosing the latter since I didn't give my wife good enough reason regarding the Tesla. Plus, she is on board with the next vehicle purchasing being electric. She wants to see what the playing field is like in 3-5 years in terms of electric. Also, we need at least a 7 seater due to having 3 children under the age of 5! So the XM is a no go ![]() As far as have I ordered the X7 M60i yet, nope. Waiting for April 2023 for this so called "hardware update." Not sure if it is a rumor, but I can wait it out. Patience is virtue… But really I am dying inside and can't wait for April 2023 to come fast enough! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I will be holding out until then, but my patience is running low. I go back and forth as to if I place an order now or wait until April 2023. Main issue being the parts shortage and not getting what I want. However, talking to a few SA's and reading on various threads, most likely BMW will reserve parts for their flagship SUV. And I am in the market for a M60i also. Also, if I wait a little longer, the early issues/kinks will be resolved. I was able to view a iX that was sold at a local dealership. And I was blown away by the exterior design and the interior cabin. I recorded a video for the wife and she asked, "why don't we buy this instead." My response, "not a 7 seater." I hope BMW one day will make a electric 7 seater. Although, I am not holding my breath. It took BMW more than a decade to come out with the X7 compared to the Mercedes GLS. |
