hi guys n gals, i have 2 options of an X5 M50d, 68/19/69 model reg, with approx 38-44k miles.

1: BMW Main dealer car with 12 months warranty with 39k miles in black, only desirable missing for me is adaptive cruise and driving professional. looks mint 69 REG + FBMWSH

2: Independent dealer with 6 months warranty so third party WMS i believe ( would opt for bmw immediately ) with 41500 miles, and has every spec i'm after, and looks mint to be fair. 68 REG + FBMWSH

but on wbac, there's a difference in valuations on both, the black car seems to hold about £4k more.

should i be that worried, first about the mileage of either of the cars, and secondly buying from an independent dealer?

I wouldn’t be concerned with the mileage. Do you know the service history of either vehicles? Did you do a vin check to confirm the build of both? What’s the wheel setup on both? Did you inspect both sets of tires? Me personally, when I did buy a used e90, I went for a low mileage CPO model from a BMW dealer.

yes as op full service history, all else seems fine with both cars to be fair.
