Mods to increase reliability?

2022 G20 M-Sport. Are there any mods that could potentially improve the car's reliability?

All stock. I've been changing the oil every 5k miles.

I may plan on putting lowering springs and jjsy wider wheel/tire setup.

As well as checking coolant levels frequently. My 19' 330i would still consume coolant on faster than average vehicles. Same thing for my 22' M340i.

No mods on a 4 cylinder will improve reliability. Regular maintenance is just the key.

OP, since the car is stock, I can only think of a freer flowing exhaust, or maybe larger radiator and intercooler if you track / drive aggressively all the time.

Otherwise, get the highest octane gas you can, and keep up with oil/filter changes as mentioned.

Some of the 6s and 8s have crank hub problems. There a crank hub upgrade that improves reliability.

S55 is the only engine where it fails unless you are pushing 600 WHP or something. The V8s don't use that design.

E92 M3 V8 has rod bearing problems.

Don't take this the wrong way, but my guess is that you won't own that G20 long enough to encounter long-term reliability problems.

^^ regular oil, filter (oil & air) changes. Change ignition coils and spark plugs a bit before recommended.... and has been said... don't mod. no wheel spacers, no boost, no nothing. just drive it. I DO like to make sure mine is up to temp (water, oil, and Trans) before I get on it. That might help as well.
