Vicious vibration under breaking E90 335d

Hi all

New to this forum, brought a 335d today and absolutely love it, its an absolute weapon, although under breaking there is a horrible vibration through the steering, at certain speeds (usually higher) it feels asif it comes through the rears, and sometimes, its just through the steering.

I initially thought warped discs, but the gent I brought it off did all four corners in march, discs pads AND callipers.

I've seen a couple of things mentioning control arm..??

Any other info or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Dom

The front control arm bushings are probably worn.

Could also be a Wheel is bent or rotors problem

Ok but does this explain vibration from the rear?

Well the discs have all been done, and if the wheels were bent would I not feel this In normal driving not just when I'm braking?

Well, I think that any kind of breaking will produce vibration. But braking should not.

Now that we got that lesson out of the way...

As serf said, check the control arms. Worn bushings will produce shudder under braking. And what you are experiencing at higher speeds maybe just be that the front instability starts to upset the rear and car's DSC starts intervening.
