Hello everyone, tittle might be a little confusing…I’m wondering if it’s possible to order an Exterior Color that isn’t on the Default list with the configurator? Looking at factory ordering an X4 M40i.

I am interested in Manhattan Green Metallic which is standard on the X5/6/7. Would this be considered an Individual color and carry the high price tag?

Or instead would it be the $650 price as a special order?

Appreciate any help or advice with this. Posted here as well as the X3/4 forum for more insight. Thanks for the help in advance.

1. you want this configurator if going individual.

2. any color not on the original bmw available paints would be considered individual. expect price to be $4500.

3. you are pretty much limited to the colors available from the above individual configurator palette. Manhattan pearl is not available for the G01 platform so you probably can't get it done. Your CA can try but all individual paints must be approved by the factory (I believe they call it feasibility check or whatever). Worth a shot I guess and it couldn't hurt to ask since all the cars are made in Spartanburg anyway and its a readily available color for the other X models.

Contact your CA to see if it can be done. But according to the site, no it's not an available individual color so the chances of it being approved is rare.
