How’s the carbon fiber door sills holding up?

I get that carbon fiber is a lightweight rigid material but just wondering how the door sills on the IX are holding up for those of you from scratches, dirt, etc? Just not sure if I need some sort of PPF protection on these things or not (I do have a 7 year old and 11 year old who sit in the back). Thanks in advance!

The carbon core parts don’t see much traffic at all. I just cleaned mine the other day since they get dirty from general use but after I wiped them down they looked good as new. Not a scratch to be seen anywhere.

I washed my car for the first time after 2 weeks of ownership. Noticed dirt collects at the bottom of the back trunk. Have to open the trunk to wipe it off.

Carbon fiber door sill longevity

We have a 2018 I3S bought new, now has 40K miles. When clean the CF door sills still look brand new, no kids though. Bodes well for the IX.
