Every time I drive over a small bump in the road (there are a lot of those as I drive in NYC/Long Island), the plastic parts of my car rattle or creek. I'm talking about the plastic on the steer column, the plastic on the mirror housing, the plastic in the door, literally everywhere. And it has been like this since day 1.

I have driven an X3 LCI loaner, and hitting similar bumps does not cause the same rattles and creeks. In fact, it was silent.

I have had quite a lot of issues with my car, so maybe it's just me, or do others experience similar issues?

i cant say i have any of those noises, other than the occasional pano roof noise over certain surfaces.

My car rattles everywhere. I turn up the radio and count the days until lease is over. lol.

Honestly, one thing that helped, was going from the Michelin PS4 to the AS4. The all season tires have a much nicer ride and seemed to have reduced some of the squeaks and rattles.

My X3MC rattles around the overhead lights / rear view mirror. When I put some forward pressure it stops. I might need the dealer to take a look.

I have this light creaking noise on my 22 X3MC coming from the passenger side that I can't identify. It only happens when road surface is crappy with bumps on local roads. Started a couple of months ago. Only have 6K miles and 6 months old. Thinking of taking it to a dealer as well.

Ahhhh. It drives me nuts, and my wife thinks I’m crazy.

I also switched to AS4 tires. Definitely helped with the ride comfort but still hear creeks from every angle.

Blasting music definitely helps drown out the noise.
