08 335xi Auto Front Axles

Bought a used 2008 335xi automatic. Came flashed with xdelete and was always in rwd. When flashed back to awd the car would bind low speed.

Turns out the previous owner swapped the front diff with one out of a manual 3.08 gear ratio. Rear still 3.46. I sourced a used 3.46 diff, although my question is will I need to swap axles aswell?

Are the front axles the same for manual and auto. Are they interchangeable?

I know for the rears the automatic and manual diffs have different axles I'm not sure about the fronts. If I had to guess it's probably the same story
