Anyone refinish 23" BMW Ind V-spoke Bi-color Wheels

Wondering if anyone has refinished the 23" BMW Ind V-spoke Bi-color Wheels in Black?
I am planning to do so when my X7 arrives.

Please post once you are done with the refinish. I am debating of going the same route as you.

I have an x7 coming in with the same wheels and was wondering the same thing! Did you ever end up doing it? Would love to see how it looks.

Not a huge fan of all black wheels…makes it hard to see the details, depth, and size even.

Instead of powder coating or painting them, why not try plasti-dipping them first to make sure you’ll like how they turn out. It may not last long, but it’s easily removable whereas paint and powdercoating isn’t.

I personally like the wheels how they are and my last 3 vehicles have all had black wheels so I feel like that’s saying something. But from what I understand, bmw does a special cut to the wheels that is pretty expensive to fix if you were to ever curb one. Wife will be driving this so I feel that’s inevitable, so if / when that happens I’ll powdercoat black.

Agreed. The wheels get completely lost and you end up with a black hole. You could have the coolest wheels ever, but nobody will ever know because they only see a big black circle.
