Any other methods to temporarily disable alarm

I'm aware of 2 ways to disable alarm temporarily:
1) Using the fob, press on the lock button within 10 seconds and observe the alarm light will stay lit for like 3-4 seconds
2) When turning off the car, there's option to one-time disable alarm on iDrive display

My problem is this: I'm using my iPhone digital key (so can't use method #1). I turn off the car and get out and close the door, so iDrive will turn off. But sometimes my kids in the back seat want to stay in the car instead.

In this case then I have to go back in, turn the car on, turn it off, press the disable alarm on iDrive, get out, lock the car.

I'm wondering if there's any easier way that I don't know about.

I sometimes leave my dog in the car to run errands and use method #1. Just to clarify though I think this only deactivates the motion sensor and the tilt sensor, but alarm is still on if someone opens the door.

Space gray is correct. This is also really useful (required?) when locking your car while on a ferry. The motion of the boat will be enough to set off the tilt sensor on the alarm.

I don't know of another way to disable these sensors without the key but that seems like a good feature request for BMW to include in a future software update.
