very easy to install and i suck at working on cars, very unlikely you'll get a code, it's easy, just kinda hard to reach down there because of the location but i have big hands and was able to do it in less than 5min my 1st time

i'm probably the most unmechanically inclined person on this forum and even i was able to install an sstt, it's been awhile but i think a dime will work best when trying to unclip the sensor

Piece of cake to install. No cels of any kind. After install take the car out and run it hard for about a half hour with a few good wide open high rev pulls and yourready to rock, and the SSTT will be adapted.Your gonna love it compared to stock.

The hardest part is to unclip the clip as your removing the connector. I just stuck a penny in there as I pulled it out.
After your first time figuring it out, it's super easy. |

Thinking about getting an SSTT also but nervous about the install. YOu guys think you know nothing about mechanics...you haven't seen me in action yet. Downloaded the install instructions last night and went out to the car to have a look. I must be a dumbass but still can't figure it out.

Used most likely. Been watching the forum and they are going for around $300. The new ones are around $600. Not worth double the price IMO.

One more voice echoing how easy it is to install, I was very careful/nervous the first time and it took me 5-10 minutes. The second time was literally under two minutes from when I lifted the hood to when I was done. I read some recommendations on here and have had good luck using a dime with a piece of string taped to it and looped around my wrist. I guess the only additional tip that helped me out is to look closely at the female end of the SSTT connector in hand while you reach under the hood to figure out what you need to "pry" with the dime to disconnect the factory connector since I found it pretty dificult to see down there while your hand is down there trying to get it done.
I realize I might have made it seem more difficult with the instructions but believe me it is incredibly simple, it's just one plug to disconnect and connect the SSTT to. |

Just read something on this the other day. Very interested in this also. It is not out yet correct? Sounds interesting. Terry seems like a great guy also. I haven't made up my mind on what I am going to get. Will most likely wait a few months anyway until the spring.

From what I read, yes. But it provides greater power than the SSTT.

Sounds good, thanks! Did you sell yours yet? Probably going to wait until spring though. Money is tight plus I want to see what Terry comes up with.
